PC gave me a BSOD last night, telling me to shut down and restart.
Well, it shut down ok ... 
I strongly suspect the memory, although it could just as easily be the mobo not letting anything through to the memory.
Unbelievably bad timing since job is also pretty uncertain at the moment. So likely to be offline for at least 2 weeks odd 
Anyone up on current hardware ? Would appreciate advice on the current CPU's etc - have not kept up on the new dual/quad core hardware and whether Intel or AMD are currently good ( been an AMD fanboi for a while ).
