PSU looks fine, providing power, but I shall be swapping most of the cables for their spares and reseating all other cables tonight or tomorrow. But PSU is only 1 year old and is a Tagan which I have found to be a remarkably well-built device.
One does the easy stuff first. 
With much finger-crossing.
