Sounds like he is trying to create missions on maps that QMB does not support.
He has to get QMB PLUS to enable all of his maps in QMB plus he has to make sure he adds the correct lines(map commands) to his Conf.ini.
Its a bit fiddly I had to troll through dozens of links on AAA site to finally get the correct way of doing it.
