Used set of eight connecting rods & eight pistons w/pins for sale for BBC 540 (4.500" bore x 4.250" stroke, 9.800" deck block);
-Reher Morrison/Manley 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods, 6.535" length, bushed .990" pin end, ARP2000 7/16" capscrews.
-Ross forged dome pistons, job #74458, RM450 material, 4.500" diameter, 1.120" compression height, 48.65cc dome for conventional open chamber BBC heads (AFR/Dart/Brodix/etc.), 558 grams, .043" - 1/16" - 3/16" ring package, lightweight tool steel tapered wrist pins, valve reliefs for valve sizes up to 2.350" intake & 1.950" exhaust.
These pistons should provide approximately 14.58:1 compression w/119cc chambers, zero deck, and .043" head gasket thickness. The rods & pistons are in excellent condition w/absolutely no damage or abnormal wear. They have one season of racing on them in a naturally aspirated engine.
