My cats always had a bowl of water in the kitchen, but after one had bladder surgery I put 3 bowls out at the 3 ends of the house. Now all of them drink a lot more water. Apparently wild cats tend to drink whenever they "find" or come across some water & this instinct still exists in housecats. It sure seems to work with my crew & keeps kidneys & bladders healthy.
