As some predicted, my daughter Kasey has developed cellulitus in both legs. The ER doc said it's not from the cat bites, since she was bitten in the hand, but I recall when I had cellulitis in my leg I was told the injury could be anywhere on the body and the infection would settle in the lower leg.
The ER doc wants her to be tested for a blood clot in her left leg because it's the most swollen. We're going to see Kasey's regular doc today and ask about that. I think it's unnecessary and that her insurance won't cover it. The last thing I need is another medical bill.
