Kitler got a double dose of Sub-Q fluids and a shot of Azmycin. Instead of Clavamox he will now be taking Baytril. He's lost another pound since last week and is down to 5.7 pounds. Fever was up from last week when it was 105.2. He's just bones. He seemed to perk up after the fluids. We were given some high calorie food to mix with water for force feeding if necessary.
On the encouraging side, the vet seems more positive and willing to work with us now that he realizes we're not giving up. He told Kitler, "We're going to get you through this, little guy." I couldn't help myself, I burst into tears, from relief I guess.
I asked the vet tech on the sly if she'd be willing to come over and vaccinate the other cats with the vaccine anonymouse sent. She's coming Monday after work. She said she'll teach me how to do it. I'm also going to ask her to teach me to do sub'q's.
