For those who are following along:
We just got back from the doctor. Kasey's legs are still red and swollen and, so far, the antibiotics aren't helping. Doc prescribed prednisone and water pills. No work or school for another week. We're operating under the theory that it's a systemic infection resulting from the cat bites, but it's not a certainty. If there's no improvement by next week, we'll see a specialist. If things get worse, we're to go back to ER.
Calgon, take me away!
