The theory would make sense, but I am trying to explain that I have seen, and continue to see her use the Littermaid, without hesitation. Just this morning when I first entered the kitchen, she was in there doing her business. I stood quietly, observed her, and when she hopped out I followed her, praising and petting her.
The only thing I can think of is that she doesn't see going in the general vicinity of the box as *wrong*, and I don't know how to correct that.
