mom has raised many a kitten that was rejected by its momcat into healthy adults.
my half sister Sixtoes was rejected at 3 days old. she has some of the same issues I have as far as the fused spine and sensitive gut, but has a very strong immune system. she almost never ever even sniffles. She is a big girl, 11 lbs, and not fat, so she isn't even runtie.
kittens might get too cold if shoved away from momcat and die from hypothermia, but we don't belive that moms always know best.
