My rescue group has taken in alot of sick, orphaned kittens over the years (I've fostered my share of them). They are fragile and can succumb easily but we have saved alot of them. I know it requires a huge effort and even then there are no guarantees but we always have tried our best. That's why I have a hard time relating to people like that.
