I understand adopting senior cats. They hold a special place in a lot of hearts.
I was at the vet today and there's a flyer for two gorgeous 9-year-olds up for adoption. Turns out a young child in the household has not only a peanut allergy but (supposedly) a cat allergy. I wish I could take them both, two chubby cats, one a calico, one a striped tiger.
