The minute she starts having some breathing trouble, she hides and runs. Once i corner her, I scruff her into the carrier. She shakes from fear and cries. It's an ordeal every time. I'm in pain from my hip arthritis and bad back and become exhausted. She's terrified and her breathing gets worse because she's so stressed.
We were going as long as six weeks between vet visits, but now she's caught on to my putting pred in her tuna water so isn't getting enough pred to extend the vet visits.
In short, she needs a vet visit every 4-6 weeks depending. This one was three weeks, so it caught me off guard. I've been doing this drill for 10-1/2 years. She was diagnosed with asthma when she was 1-1/2 years old.
Chloe is only one left of my original three cats. I love her dearly. She talks to me a lot and gets along with most of the cats. But she lives upstairs, mostly in my office where she feels safe.
