But then the only way to know is a comprehensive check up I guess?. He does have some serious tartar build up, the vet has done the picking off before. I have tried it but by yourself is not easy. Buddy hates, I mean hates anything to do with the car. You get him near a carrier and the car for any longer than 10 minutes (takes that long for the local routine vet) and it's pure chaos! Head banging, howling, pooping and throwing up mayhem. The only vet I trust in regards to anything other then routine stuff is in the next town (30 minutes). I am considering a sedative for him if possible. Nothing strong, just to take the edge off. I had to do this with my late MsGray during her trips to combat her blood disorders. But I may try to pick it off myself again, but he is a pretty big boy and is a handful even for me. Thanks Bend.
