Thank you for doing the loving, right thing. I wish he could have rallied. How can anyone give up a pet you've had for 20 years? What a horrible betrayal. How could some take care of him that long, then leave him there? How do you turn your back? It's unimaginable to me.
Godspeed Bernard. You loved. And then lost. Then loved again. And are at peace now. Home at last.
