Let your mom know that the page is great and a perfect reminder about our aged pets are very attached to us. As I look at our 3 furballs, I can't imagine dropping them off at a shelter because of "allergies". It wouldn't be acceptable for 2-legged children but for some they think it's fine for 4-legged children. You did your best to give him a comfortable and lovable home but depression can be very difficult to recover from.
