pup is barred from there during the daytime - she comes down into the living room in the evening and spends the whole time either on the arm of Arthur's chair or on his lap and is "safe". Its the blank look in her eyes and the kind of not knowing where she is that worries me. She's also given a couple of funny growls when picked up too.
