You may have to consider restricting her to a special room or be her constant seeing eye human. I have heard about placing things along paths for her to smell and use as a reference though they have good memories of where stuff is. Just make sure things that stick out are not a hazard.
Give her as much care as you can. It is time consuming I know. But if there are things to give her some decent QOL then do so.
Yes, take care with the BP meds. Make sure the dose is correct of perhaps start her off small? There are those here who can help you so always check back and make sure you are always in contact with your vet(s).
