last night my older FIV boy Hugo lost a canine, I went to look at his mouth better and he bit me. He was stil eating fine (being thin has never been a problem for him).
Went to check on him again, planning on using the chlorhex mouthwash. Velvet (who has been under the weather for awhile now and is also FIV+) was drooling huge gobs. I opened her mouth and she has a HUGE tongue ulcer.
I rinsed both their mouths out with teh chlorhex.
they are separated from everyone else.
I HATE calicivirus.
At least I don't have any teeny tinies in the house.
and i have lots of disposable gloves.
aaaiiieeeeeee!!!!!!!
had to get that out.
