I get one at Pet Super Market, Wellness Core Hard that is wheat and grain free. The other is the canned Fancy Feast Gourmet Chicken Feast. Reason is that FF is the best for April who has her diabetes under control by diet. As well as Buddy who was border line. The grain free does the intestinal track good because of no grains and gluten. The FF allows nutrition and not shoot sugar levels up as well as little or no gluten. Now for cost that could be an issue. But I have decided that sometimes cost in regards to food versus vet visits and the Vet ER out weigh cost when I can balance it. I go to Walmart and buy the FF by the case. Sometimes Win Dixie has 10 for 10 but not often so Walmart is always better. The Wellness we leave out while at work in case we end up working over time. The FF is a morning and come home from work dinner. I take up the food after I go to bed because Buddy needs to loose some weight and well as Easton so I don't free feed as much now. Wellness is about $30 for a 12 lbs bag though I am trying to find it cheaper but not much luck. FF can goes about in the area of .50 a can at Walmart. I'm not very good with numbers but thought I would give some input.
