For dry foods I prefer Orijen, which doesn't contain the carby fillers that make Nutrience even more overpriced. And the serving size of Orijen is about half of what Nutrience recommends, so one bag lasts longer.
For optimal urinary tract health of my kitties I like to use both wet and dry foods and 3 bowls of water throughout the house. Some varieties of Walmart's Special Kitty 85g cans are all meat/fish with no fillers or wheat gluten. Watch out for Fancy Feast & SK varieties w/"gravy" - you will see wheat gluten on some flavours' ingredient lists. Since they come in the same flavours, I have a suspicion that Special Kitty 85g cans are just Fancy Feast with different labels (and lower prices).
