But honestly we have questions too. It is so far only in one spot. Easton and Buddy now and then play rough and Easton likes to play bite or paw. Maybe he got him there, I'm not sure.
But then, it's in the area that he seems to be the most sensitive. The same general area we use a flea topical once and he lost almost all his fur in this spot (between shoulders) but it comes back. But you can see the pink more there than anyplace else.
On the other hand, when he starts to over groom and scratch he gets about two or three of these sore spots. So far it's just one, but it's a size that is a concern. Only one, but a size of a quarter.
Now, allergies we think is environmental. We have changed foods over the last year and still he got them. It started almost over a year ago and it got worse over time to this day when he gets these flare ups. Now, could it be mood related that is another thing too. So many variables here.
They say one flea bite or even an insect bite can last as an irritation for weeks at a time. I have checked these guys till I am crossed eyed and have not found one flea. Not even what may look like a bite mark, at least that I can see. But in Florida we have bugs a many.
I sweep, vacuum and mop when I can. But do not use any chemicals. Mostly a swiffer, a wet mop. I do not even use bug spray anymore inside the house because of his past issues. But have a roach problem, daddy long legs invasion and the occasional yellow fly attack.
Again, so many variables here. Well, we have to go to work soon.
Thanks!
