for not wanting to jump back into using the Atopica.
I would vote for a little animal safe aloe gel on the spot several times a day and see if that helps first. It's naturally antimicrobial and can help it to heal, you could put a barrier lotion over it (ie neutral based beeswax product, something like that with limited ingredients) they are both safe should he or the other cats lick it that way too.
I think I mentioned this to you before, but I would also look into trying a bit of benadryl or other cat safe antihistamine and see if that helps. The other thing you could try, is a short course of clindamycin antibiotic it works great on skin lesions if there is a bacterial/inflammed condition.
And, you're right, he could just be more sensitive than the others to bugs or bites.
