An interesting coincidence has occurred that has me curious. Three weeks ago Buddy became in distress from a serious pneumonia type of respiratory problem. We had speculated that the new cat condos that had been in storage for a long time that I got out finally may have caused some triggering, though only one many possibilities we investigated it was not conclusive though I decided to get rid of them anyway for Buddy’s shake.
Well I was going to sell them to make a little money for the furkids but then it was an issue of delivery for distant buyers. I got practically nada from local free ads. So after a while I offered them to my neighbor who has cats. Well, three days later like my Buddy they had to rush one of their cats to the ER vet. They found out she has asthma and it suddenly became serious apparently from something triggering it. Well, they called me up and said to please take back the cat condos.
I have no idea if this is related or not but I too have decided not to use these condos ether. One thing though, the carpet on these is different from the one I already have. It’s more like cashmere than strand fibers like these two new ones. Perhaps it’s just these two furkids by chance; it didn’t seem to affect anyone else. But still, for Buddy’s shake I guess I need to get rid of them.
Overzealous precaution, perhaps. But I can’t help but see the similarities here.
