Fuzzy will be 18 in September...the only cat I bought, from a local pet shop. Was so darn cute and stuck his little paw out at me. He was about 6 weeks old at the time.
Then we have 3 left from a litter of 4 (Tinker died earlier last year)from a feral mama I caught. Trapped her and put her in the bathroom (was a icy cold cold day and she was pregnant). She had the babies that night. They would have definitely died had they been born outside. They will be 16 at the end of March. (Leonard, Steve and Dolly)
Then I was trapping cats left and right years ago and had two litters I kept (babies at the time). Only 3 remain from those litters. Red and Dixie (14 1/2) and Buffy (will be 15 in June...opposite litter).
Then Whitey and Mishka arrived together. Both full grown. My estimate was they were a year at the time, but they could have been older. Based on my estimate they are 12.
Then the babies as we call them. They are 9 1/2, were four babies originally a litter we took in from a feral. VERY sadly, we lost Mario last year. (heartbroken, he was the best cat ever). His siblings who we still have are Grampie, Peep Peep and Carlos.
Then there's Jenny (I estimate her at 8...we had her 6 years). She came with her little kitten Parker who is 6 and our youngest.
And that's it, 14. Sadly we went from 30 only a couple/few years ago. We are not replacing, and thankfully none have arrived. I feed the wildlife now and so they hunker down with babies in our barn and under the barn where the cats would. So guess maybe that's why. And I'm glad cause I don't want to accumulate any more, I will be older when Parker gets old. And I don't want to worry about any others after that. And we'd like to travel...maybe. If that ever happens. With all the animals it's really hard.
Glad to know all your oldsters are doing well.
