With no hope (though I hated thinking he was eating, and maybe didn't want to go), I took him in. It definitely was the right thing to do.
Seems like we never just lose *one*, it's always multiple. I hope that's it! The others are old too, but they thankfully seem to be doing ok. I hope they stay that way for a while.
This is so stressful. I loved my Fuzzy. He was the best cat! He was the only one I actually chose and bought, ($40 at a local pet shop 17 1/2 years ago), he was adorable and reached out at me.
Dixie was one of Dave's favorite, she basically lived on the bed, and would sleep up by our heads. She was a quiet little girl, timid, but very sweet.
I'll miss both of them, but life moves on I guess. We all will pass that way at one time or another. Still hard to let go. Be well Fuzzy and Dixie, I hope you found each other and all your other friends from the past, and many other sweet little animals as well.
Rest in peace my sweet little angels.

Both photos were fairly recent (maybe 2-4 months ago).
