the kitten is doing well. two days ago she started eating real amounts of food again. still haven't seen any poop yet tho. the swelling is way down, the bruise looks miserable. i got a quote from my vet to remove her tail (it is broken way up high) and i about fainted. when i had jean-Claude's tail removed it was about $150, that was a few years ago...but they are saying $400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eegads. i emailed Marleys Cat Tales, explained teh situation and said, even tho this is not a Marleys cat, could they help me find a better price they said they would work something out. Princess did have a visit wiht her owners, and teh little girl was so happy! and so was Princess! they have learned their lesson about cats and cars, when they had originally brought the kitten over even the dad was crying. my vet did say to wait until the bruising has resolved before taking off the tail. I'm really hoping she poops today, c'mon lil Princess and poop!!!! She is too sore for me to even consider palpating her intestines to see what is in there. I am going to set up a raffle to help raise funds for her surgery. first prize will be a kitty playhouse. second prize will be a kitty play mat. tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5.
