I would suggest you stock up on AD food (from vet) and all meat (no onion or garlic) babyfood so you be ready if he stops eating. Are you giving him Pepcid A/C (1/4 tablet) yet? If he seems nausea, vomits or won't eat, check with your vet whether he should have that or reglan. Are you doing sub-q yet? - He's certainly got my prayers to be with you for quite some time yet!...nm

those miserable stones can cause a lot of scar tissue and cats, in CRF, can have calcification and shrunken kidneys. Kidneys can keep working though, even if very compromised, if supported...the fluids will surely help and I hope and pray Worm is with you for as much time as possible.

Is he still producing stones? Is he on a special diet? - (((hugs))) and prayers for you both that

You may want to ask the vet abut feeding only canned/wet food. Especialy if your giving the fluids since kibble can contridict that.
I hope your time together is long and special.

not a thing anyone can do about it, except give her lots love, liquids, and kidney friendly food.
we know its hard having severla cats in a short span of time come donw with teh same terminal illness. for awhile mom was wondering what she was doing that two cats had mouth cancer so close together, and before that we had several heart disease cats
no rhyme or reason to it happening that way. Just trying to say that no, there wasn't a thing you could do about it.
