Jason sent an email to a list we're on and asked me if I would mind submitting it to the boards for him. I don't think he'll get any answers from teh email list, or at least not good ones, and I think that's his view as well. I need some advice on Cat food, Jo you can put this on the cat boards if you wish. The food that Amber and Tango are on now, brand is Nutrients is getting costly , and there is another price hike in the near future. Right now a 12 pound bag is costing around $60, this is also nearly double the cost of the performatrin they were on in Toronto witch was around $25 for a 20 pound bag. Once the price hike takes affect a 12 pound bag of this stuff is going to cost around $80. I get about two months from a bag. Once the current stock is over at the store the price hike comes into affect, so I am looking at around Janurary. This is getting very costly so I need advice on what I may be able to switch them to, that might be a better price but won't compromise the food quality. Choices are limited. Royal cannon is sold here but it doesn't agree with them, or it didn't when they were kittens so don't want to risk that. The other choices I could see as options are, iams or perrina. I price the highest quality perina I could fine and it is about half about $30 for a 12 pound bag. I may have to switch them to this. I haven't checked the iams yet. Does any one else have advice on what brands I could check into?
