for mom this was amazingly sane, but she was snuggling Tierseas at the time so he must have had a calming effect. "I am very very sorry and upset that these kittens were put down. They had a place to live, I was going to take them. they had transport here. Even if they were FIV and FeLv+, I would have taken them. I wish someone had asked or said there was some urgency to getting them moved. I know we could have found a way to get them here if they were seen as unwanted or taking up needed space where they were. The mom is still welcome to come here if/when she is trapped. Perhaps instead of waiting to get her spayed, just send her along. Hissy is fine too, I've dealt with ferals. a lot of people were pulling for these kittens and had offered to help if needed, we are all very sad to hear they were needlessly put down.
