| Not trying to downplay any concern...................

Over the completely tragic and non neccessary destruction of these kittens, but what's done is done and can't be changed. Sasha has expressed her feelings to the person(s) responsible, and it sounds like they don't want to handle the criticism, so it's a waste of time and enery to keep going at them. I totally agree with all thoughts and opinions on this, but I think our energy would be better focused on the thousands in shelters that CAN be saved. I believe that there are more out there that need Sasha's expertise, maybe even more than these little guys did. FIV is still a very misunderstood disease, and shelters and rescues still abide by the old ways with it, even mine, Siamese Rescue. We don't take positive kitties either, as (1)They are harder to Adopt out, (2)We don't have the space and resources to wait the 4-6 months to retest, when there are so many sitting in kill shelters waiting to be pulled that aren't positive and could be placed right away, making room for more. It's tragic and sad, but unfortunately a realistic fact of life. No I don't like it, but we can only do the best we can, and save them one at a time. Dolly
