Of course, it would still be worth making sure the information about that is easily accessible so that if something happened and you (or whoever) were unable to communicate your wishes, the responders wouldn't just take your animals to the nearest shelter or animal control (which is a tragic story I think we've all heard more than once).
The first instinct is for response personnel to take any animals to a shelter where all bets are off. I just want to do whatever I can to make sure that in my case that would not happen to my pets.
