Posted by Mythical Registrar on February 3, 2007, 16:20:34 The following creatures will be dying shortly (death dates are stated in brackets following the name). For them, the standard death procedures apply. This means that they will not be permitted to breed past their actual death date, and they have a month following that date to 'play out' deaths if they wish (For example, a griffin with a death date of February 7, 2007, cannot breed past that date, and must be dead by March 7, 2007). Mythicals will be marked spirits automatically once they are one month past their death date: In the month of January: Cry (January 23, 2007) In the month of February: Amelia (February 9, 2007) In the month of March: None If your mythical dies (either due to old age or predation), please report it here. This is especially important when your mythical dies from a cause other than old age. If it is old age from which your mythical dies, the default procedure will be for me to mark it as a spirit unless told otherwise. If you do not want it marked as a spirit, but rather want it removed entirely (or if you want it marked as a spirit before the month following its death date passes), please let me know. Remember that mythicals which die as a result of old age cannot be restored with a life blessing alone. Mythicals that die as a result of predation or the death blessing, however, can be restored the same as any other char. As the cheese dragon myth/legend/thingy is pretty much over and these dragons do not exist on the mythical list (therefore no details are posted regarding their lifespan), please be advised of the following: - All cheese dragons are inherently sterile. - I would actually advise you to keep your cheese dragon listed in the records as a spirit, even if you never intend to play it as a spirit...simply because these dragons are rather odd...you never know what might happen to them in the future. The above applies to the following registered cheese dragons: Dynamatic ALL SINGLIS-RHANIQIN OWNERS: The following singlis-rhaniqin must make a kill by the end of February or they will die: Fate's Prisoner Note: While I encourage singlis-rhaniqin players not simply prey on their own mythicals, there is no rule that does not allow a singlis-rhaniqin to kill a mythical belonging to their own player. However, these kills must be reported, or they will not be counted. Eg. If your singlis-rhaniqin needs to make a kill by Feb. 28, and you post on March 31 that it killed one of your own dragons in December, this kill will not be counted and your singlis-rhaniqin will still be considered to have died of starvation (an exception may be if you have done a post on a wolf mountain board regarding this kill that is still available for me to confirm the date that you claim). If there are any questions about the singlis-rhaniqins, please ask.

Monthly mythical event round-up:
Egypt (February 24, 2007)
Felix (February 16, 2007)
Shadow Crest (February 27, 2007)
REMINDERS
ALL CHEESE DRAGON OWNERS:
- All cheese dragons (regardless of date recieved) have a death date of February 28, 2007. As with all other mythicals, generally a month leeway after that date is given to allow a death to be played out, but they are definately to be deceased by March 28 at the absolute latest.
