Monthly mythical event round-up:
The following creatures will be dying shortly (death dates are stated in brackets following the name). For them, the standard death procedures apply. This means that they will not be permitted to breed past their actual death date, and they have a month following that date to 'play out' deaths if they wish (For example, a griffin with a death date of September 7, 2008, cannot breed past that date, and must be dead by October 7, 2008). Mythicals will be marked spirits automatically once they are one month past their death date:
In the month of August:
none
In the month of September:
none
In the month of October:
Gawain (October 6, 2008)
Otaktay (October 2, 2008)
REMINDERS
If your mythical dies (either due to old age or predation), please report it here. This is especially important when your mythical dies from a cause other than old age. If it is old age from which your mythical dies, the default procedure will be for me to mark it as a spirit unless told otherwise. If you do not want it marked as a spirit, but rather want it removed entirely (or if you want it marked as a spirit before the month following its death date passes), please let me know.
Remember that mythicals which die as a result of old age cannot be restored with a life blessing alone. Mythicals that die as a result of predation or the death blessing, however, can be restored the same as any other char.
ALL SINGLIS-RHANIQIN OWNERS:
The following singlis-rhaniqin must make a kill by the end of November or they will die:
Soulless Moonlight
Note: While I encourage singlis-rhaniqin players not simply prey on their own mythicals, there is no rule that does not allow a singlis-rhaniqin to kill a mythical belonging to their own player. However, these kills must be reported, or they will not be counted. Eg. If your singlis-rhaniqin needs to make a kill by May. 31, and you post on June 30 that it killed one of your own dragons in March, this kill will not be counted and your singlis-rhaniqin will still be considered to have died of starvation (an exception may be if you have done a post on a wolf mountain board regarding this kill that is still available for me to confirm the date that you claim). If there are any questions about the singlis-rhaniqins, please ask.
OTHER NOTES:
The 2008 Aaradar dragons have now hatched. Rein, I need a name for your dragon, as it was recorded into my registry at the time with a temporary placeholder name.
