Grief is a ugly thing to go through. It's painful, sad, angry, frustration, and a very lonely place.
I do tell myself every day that I am so lucky to have had him for my husband. He was the best person I could have ever asked for.
Do you have any family nearby? Or some very good friends. I have been truly blessed to have a wonderful sister-who unfortunately has walked this road also-I have one son at home with me.
Plus we are very much still part of my husband's family.
And my son plays baseball and basketball so that keeps me going somewhat. I have been writing in a journal to Richard and although I sometimes still cry it does bring me peace.
