Dear Jay,
Sorry for you. My guy also left without warning 2 years ago. When those 'event' days come up, I treat them as normal, average days, however, it does help to talk or visit with someone. Not good to be alone in solitude; too much time to dwell. In your heart you know the day, time, etc. I feel its best not not to mark the occasion over and over.
