some one i barely know is dying and it hurts so much

i recently met some one via the internet, and she is just wonderful,young and hopeful but she is dying,she has been involved in a 7yr relationship and set her wedding date recently but today she is lying in icu and im not sure if she will make it,she has cancer and my heart breaks for this wonderful soul who deserves happiness and for the man that loves her so much..
y is life so unfair,why do the good people always get hurt...how do you go on after loving some one your whole life..why cant God give her a chance,she's just 25yrs old....do prayers help,do words help...does time really help...i just wish God with give her time...i dont know why it hurts so much...i never even met her....
