Hello All,
I wanted to let everyone who reads this site know that I was very pleased with a link from Memory-of.com. They are an Amish group who makes hand made quilts or teddy bears from your loved ones clothing.
This may sound strange to some, but it fit a perfect need for me and my children. My husband passed away in August and we have three children - ages 15 to 22 yrs. I had not really cleaned out his clothing yet - I was not really wanting to part with it. The quilts I ordered required 7 pieces of adult clothing for each quilt. We have plenty of special clothing left, but it helped me part with some of knowing that they would return made into beautiful quilts. This way when my children are older and possibly married, they can have a memory that won't take up a lot of room, etc.
The quilts were very excellent quality and are very warm and soft. I am so glad that I paid to have them made for this Christmas. It was the perfect gift from myself and my husband (to still give)!
