Dearest Connie,
I just was wondering how you were doing... I noticed you hadn't been posting in a few months. I am hoping you are managing okay. I expect that the winter blues have kept you mostly inside, but I do hope that you have found someone to lean on... your posts just sound so devastating and that you are lost...
I wrote you a poem, and I hope this helps you to cry.... to believe in the friends and hope that surrounds you
Autumn season has come and past
The colours now turned to brown and drab
What I feel in my heart is just as dull
I have no energy left at all
Now winter comes
With its ice and blankets of snow
What I feel in my heart is so cold
My children will never grow old
Please Lord, help me now
I can't seem to grasp how
You could take my loved ones away
And expect me to get through another day
My friends and family tell me I should move on
Don't they understand... THEY'RE GONE?
I fall to my knees and I pray
That God will help me get through today
Maybe tomorrow the pain will ease
And I might see a sunrise or feel a nice breeze
That might make my heart remember
My children at play and their laughter
So please, Lord, help me now
I can't seem to grasp how
You could take my loved ones away
And expect me to get through another day
Holding you tightly so you can cry on my shoulder and lean on me,
