Dear Chris,
For the loss of your son, I send you my heartfelt prayers that the pain of missing him is eased.
You are with people who understand this pain, and although we wish you no pain, we are happy to be here to help you through. Please feel my arms around you, just holding you tightly.
Pain is pain, grief is painful, and the hole left in your heart from that treasure called to God, is devastating.
But, if you look really closely, the sunbeams that come from behind those dark clouds? those are sent from your son, to show you how happy and gleaming he is. The raindrops that fall, are the tears he sheds because you miss him and he doesn't want to cause you this pain, and the wind? if you listen closely, there are whispers of his laughter there.
So, my dear Chris, all my love, and wishes that this terrible time, finds your heart and calms it peacefully. May God's angels continue to protect our loved ones in Heaven, and may He give us strength to get up another day without our loved ones next to us.
