Hi Yolandi,
I was so excited and comforted when I signed on here to see your message. Unfortunately, I have had a very bad last 3 weeks. A long time friend of mine just passed away from surgical complications of gastric bypass. She had reached out to me and my son when my husband passed away. Her and her husband have spent many times in my home for various celebrations and they made lots of extra efforts to come see my son play basketball or baseball in our town league. She has left behind a man who loved her so much and they had a normal marriage.. some days you love them and others you are human and think? he's driving me nuts. They have one son like we did. She was also a cancer survivor. I just feel so sad and in that awful pain again oh having lost someone that new my husband was was a total friend.
She was the type of person-she didn't meet people she met new friends for all she met came to see her in such a great way.
And stupidly and I know that this is true also. She most likely gets to see my husband again and it's wird to say it but that hurts too.
I am just so proud that the last fun night she had was a girls night out and we had a blast-there were 7 of us and I think my back ached for a week from laughing so much.
