I'm so glad to know that I am not the only one who has felt that way. I thought I was the worst person around for thinking that.
I just am so distraught thinking that my friend Darlene is gone. She was at my son's last basketball game of the season and was looking forward to watching him play baseball in the major's league. All three of them were so good to me when Richard passed away. Her husband took my son camping with their son and did all kinds of things with him and their Stevie.
My insides feel so shaky just like they could all fall out.
The shock was incredible-she had gone in for the elective gastric by pass and less that 24 hours later complications set in and 10 days later after being on a respirator she passed.
I could not have been more shocked when her husband called me. My heart breaks for him-they had what some of us were lucky to have a great relationship/marrigage. And 15 years later they still loved each other.
The past 8 months have been horrible and getting worse. I lost my aunt/mentor, cousin, my mom's caregiver when she was able to be home and now one of my closest/best friends. .
Thank You so much for being there once again for me. You are a true treasure.
Big Hugs as I wipe my tears yet again
