Dear Melissa,
You are right, its not fair that God should take such wonderful young souls full of life and lots to live for away.
My arms to hold you tightly Melissa, what you are feeling is not easy, and not for the weak.
There is no way to understand God's plan.. only He knows what He must do. Asking why, just makes it more difficult. I stopped asking why my husband had to be sick all those years, because it was making me crazy. (losing my mind).
I finally started journalling all the wonderful stuff my husband did, and how he made me feel, and then I started sharing with his friends and family all the wonderful memories I had and they would share theirs with me.
So, although you are sad, maybe angry (pissed off), or just confused, write it down. Share it with all your friends, the group you were together with.
I will send you my prayers that your other friend in the ICU will be alright. I hope God knows that you already suffer enough with one friend lost, without making you lose another.
