Hi Judith,
I have to admit myself that it does bring me still to tears that they are no new photo's of my Richard with me or our son.
But, I want to tell you something that has happened to pictures that I have taken since he went home to God.
One month, after he passed our son was in the opening day parade of his Little League baseball. So pulling myself together the best I could I took pictures of all kinds with his team, himself, kids on the field. Then I asked him if I could take one of him alone. So reluctantly he said ok. My friend, Karen and I took him out for pizza later and I pulled out my digital camera for Joey to see his pictures. He hands me back the camera and says. Mom what is that cloud circle next to me for? And that is the first time that ever happened and it also happens periodically every time my son plays baseball or basketball games.
It looks like an "Orb"- which is what I have heard happens when a loved one is checking in. It's never happened in any pictures he has taken of me but the joke always was between me and my husband-If I died you'd stick me on ice before you'd miss a game(meaning he would do it to me) and he replied Well you know I would never miss an important sporting event or miss any of Joey's games!
There you have it.. I believe that he let's me know thru the picture that he is there for me to find and to watch his son.
Don't worry I bet Roy will show up in a picture somehow one of these times.
Since I told someone else about this they told me they have heard it's happened to others too.
I pray somehow that it will happen for you.
