Hi Debbie,
Not as many showed up this year as the last 2 years, but it was also held on a sunday... but, for the 68 people who did show up, we managed to raise over 1400.00 USD. And the raffle items and silent auction items were fantastic.
I do remember Canobie Park, because I took my sister Nancy and her family one summer when they came to visit me.
I have been back to work, and I picked up some overtime this week, just to help me get through this emotional time.. I am okay though.
I know I am being held up right now... as that footprints theme says, that one set of footprints is when I carried you...
Why not invite both of them on memorial day? Although he might have plans to be with the family. I know I was with my inlaws on alot of holidays... but, you shouldn't feel strange about asking to do stuff with your son's friend.. I believe it would be a good thing for both of the boys to continue with their outings and everyday mishaps and getting into trouble.. it will also allow them to talk about what they are going through to each other, and help each other through.
That is just my opinion, in any case, I send you my hugs and prayers that God and your Richard continue to be nearby you and your family.
