feels of guilt for loving someone else after losing a spouse

i have recently met the most wondrful man. he is a widow of a year and a half. i admire him for the love he felt towards his wife and the care he provided to her. i know he feels feelings of guilt,to love n want another person. i just want to help him through it, some kind advice would be appreciated
