Hi...I have gone through this as well and I am 44 years old your right we think we are adults until we are dealt with cards we can not handle and all of a sudden we are children agian.
Anyway...You do have the strength to go through this you have to...... its ok to cry .....but know you must also be strong for your father is headed to a far better place and you have to believe this to be true so you can actually help him leave this earth. Let your father go knowing he is driven to a better place with your help. We are all born to die and most of us run from this thought. I know that if we weep to much we can change the course of loved ones and they to try and hang on here where they no longer belong so for this reason you must be strong.
I guess these are the best words I can give you.
I hope you can see the essence of the few words I have written for you.
