will be losing my fiancee in the next little while

I realize people have to die, but how am I going to get through this when it hurts so much right now? Daryl is my best friend, my love, and the only father my kids have known. He is still semi active, although in pain, and I can't do anything to help him. I can't picture life without his humor, his hugs, his little notes...I have prayed so hard for this to not happen, to take me instead, he has dome nothing to deserve this.
