Dear Mary,
I open my arms to just hold you. Its alright to cry. Your grandmother knows how much you are missing her and hurting right now. Try to think of her and ask her to place her hands on your shoulders to help ease your grief.
The second week after I had lost my husband, I just starting crying so inconsolably, that I started choking on my own tears. I just yelled out for Roy, please help me, I can't do this... and all of a sudden, I felt his hand on my shoulder and it just eased my pain.
Your grandmother loves you so much, she won't let this hurt linger if you ask her.
As much as you loved your grandma, as much as you will hurt, there will be moments when glimpses of times shared with such wonderful memories will break through, and even though you cannot fathom that you will ever be able to remember the good times, they will come to you.
My dear Mary, for all your hurting I send you my heartfelt prayers, and again, I offer you my wide open arms, a helping hand, and a shoulder to cry on.
Lovingly,
Judith
