Mary,
The feeling of heartbreak eventually will subside , it won't go away but you will find it easier to breathe as times goes on. The first few days after my grandfathers passing were the hardest thing I ever had to face in my life. Its almost impossible for someone to imagine the view from your side of the fence, but it might make it easier to remember the view your grandmother has in heaven. I share in your selfishness for wanting your loved one back but as months pass you will understand that your grandmother is in a better place experiencing life again... although you may feel like your life will never go on... My life is far from being back to normal however I am beginning to understand my grandfather only deserved the best and the life in pain he was living was from from it. Just be grateful in knowing that your life was touched by an angel.If you ever want to talk it out, I'd be more than happy to listen.
